Review of the Grand Hotel, Gold CoastAs a wildlife conservationist from Nairobi, Kenya, I recently took my family to the Grand for a vacation. We stayed in room 409 on the fourth floor, which offered spacious accommodations and remarkable views of the ocean. The heated pool was a favorite; we enjoyed swimming multiple times each day. Our children relished the opportunity for water sports on the Broadwater, including jet skiing-a thrilling experience that created lasting memories. The hotel's location is ideal, with easy access to Harbour Town and its massive cinema complex. We spent one evening watching a family movie, an enjoyable outing for all of us. I did find certain aspects of our room could use significant updates and a thorough cleaning. The lack of proper ventilation in the bathroom and some dated furniture detracted slightly from our overall experience. While there were a few issues, the welcoming staff ensured we felt at home. For families seeking a supportive environment to enjoy activities and relaxation, the Grand offers a commendable choice, albeit with room for improvement.
